Can I swap a gu6 rear end with a g80?

I have a 2000 4x4 blazer with a gu6 rear end that the pinion bearing locked up. DH is not sure about fixing that so we are looking into swapping out the whole diff. Can we swap that with a g80?

We installed a new starter, and there is about a 1/4" (or less)gap at the bottom of where it goes into the flywheel--is that right?? We didn't pay attention if the one we took out was like that....

I would also like to see one of those. The guy who I bought my 2000 Blazer off of changed the engine and failed to connect about a half dozen hoses. It'd be nice to know where they all go.

I've been having problems with intermitant hard starts then intermitant NO starts. With the no starts, sometimes the fuel pump would cycle and sometimes it wouldn't.

Well, changed the coil and no more arching but still have the 1345 code. Starting and running way better though. I'm going to let it go for awhile and see what happens.
