How did you guys determine that it was the ignition? I've been told a few times to check that out, but i haven't seen anything that points to that.

I checked out that thread and it doesn't sound like my problem.Everything runs fine once it starts. I have talked to about a half dozen mechanics just this morning and i've reduced it down to 3...

I'm not having any throttle problems at all. Once it's actually running, everything feels great. I'm at a loss, i think i'm actually going to take it to GM... ugh

I haven't been able to get the fuel pressure checked when it's acting up. But i have it checked for codes a few times and there nothing, sigh...

So it happened again on friday. Went to work in the morning, wouldn't start when i went to leave... actually it did start and died after about 4 seconds and then wouldn't start again.

i thought it was heat related as it seemed to only do it after driving for awhile and then after letting it sit for a few hours it would fire up.About two weeks ago when it brokedown, i left it over...

Soooo, my truck got nailed with a vehicle inspection and wheni took it into a buddies shop they did some fudging ;)on the report,one of the fudgingbeing the tires and rims. One of the guys that works...
