Used Tranny Cost????

Well the Tranny went on my 1995 Blazer 4x4...I was just wondering if anybody would know how much it's going to cost me to get a used one from the junkyard? If anyone has bought one from a junkyard...

Also...How hard is it to change the Tranny if I have to? I'll have a shop to do it and everything, i'll likely just get a junkyard tranny (if the rebuild costs too much)...any tips on that?

I have a 1995 Blazer LT...I find that it really slips in first and 2nd gear. On the highway it is fine, except passing gear slips a bit too....reverse is fine right now. I put it in OD and it revs...

The Idle RPM for the test was 1100 or so....I already put new plugs in it. Maybe I should go get new wires for it tomorrow and put those on. How do I check for a vacuum leak?? I really have no...

Rear Wiper Doesn't Work....

When I go to turn on my rear wiper I just hear a loud buzzing sound, like it's trying to work...not sure how I could get it working? any ideas?

Someone from Yahoo answers told me that it could be the Intake Gasket....which I really hope it isn't. They said to check 1-02 Sensor, 2- Map Sensor, 3- Intake Gasket.....I'm still thinking the cat...

That's all you did??? The truck had been sitting for awhile, so i'm figuring it sounds like a cat problem. As for the idling problem, i'm going to be getting new wires also...maybe I should get some...

Update: I changed the plugs today, put fuel injector cleaner in it also. After I put the cleaner in, it was still bogging and idling up and down and stalling, after I changed the plugs (right after)...

I have no clue why it was sitting to be honest. I bought new plugs for it today...going to get the cap and rotor on the weekend along with new wires. Going to get all that on there on the weekend...

What one do you have and what one do you prefer? I have a column shifter, but I think i'd rather have the floor shifter. Maybe it's just because i'm used to the ground shifter from all the other...

Well today I really noticed that under 1000 rpm's if you give it gas real quick and then let off real quick...it bogs and nearly stalls. It definitely seems like a fuel problem to me....any other...

Just throwing something else out there....before I got the Blazer I noticed when it was cold it was idling up very high (It was also pretty cold out) then as the truck got warmer the idle would come...

The Engine light does flash on when I first start it, but it goes off. I'm guessing that means it's working....but it doesn't stay on or anything.

The check engine light doesn't come on while i'm driving...I'm not 100% sure if it comes on when I first turn it on or not. It has pretty high KM's (300,000), but so did the Sunfire. I am not sure...
