I'm an idiot. The Mrs just had to start using the Blazer because she ran her Subaru into a pole and had problems with the unfamiliar controls...and had left the rear washer switch on. I'm really glad...

It was the visors!

I'd look in at night, and not see any light at all...but I was driving and put my hand on the visor and it was warm...because the lights were on!
The visors fit so tight that they don't leak light...

Using a test light between the -post on the battery and the ground cable, and pulling fuses, I find that there is no draw...

This was a pain in the butt for me. I didn't expect a repair bearing, so I was going about it wrong. The repair bearing is long, and sticks out of the axle tube about 3/8" so a slide hammer works...

Right rear seal leak started this adventure. Pulled the axle, and I'm puzzled by seeing what looks like a seal between the bearing and the differential...about 3" in from the face of the axle...
