OEM are plastic crap dist. I got one from Rockauto.com for around $50 its metal and works great.
Try a little gasket goop to help hold it on till you can get a replacement

Axel swap for disk breaks

I was thinking of swaping a disk brake rear axel from a 4 door into my drum brake 2 door blazer.
Will this cause problems with the ABS? or the driveshaft? seems like it would work otherwise.

How old are the calipers? could one be sticking after applying the brake?

After the plug was fixed the catalytic converter code poped. New cat installed...

I just tested the voltage. ignition on not running 5.3 was the reading. Then with the vehicle running wiggled the connector and wires. No fluctuation on the scanner.
I dont have the tools to test...

New development is the P0102 code did not pop. The P0141 oxygen sensor code did. :(

Another thing i have to check tomorrow. Just found in the Haynes repair manual the MAF should read 4.0 to 9.0 grams per second at normal operating temperature at idle. I think mine was only 0.01.
