I am havin the same problem. I replaced a bunch of lines. the accuator. And still nlthin. Cables are good. Have olenty of vacuum. I have no idea what the hell is wrong. Confusin the hell outta meh....

I'll check into the lines don't think it's those though/ they were unhooked when I got it. Tranny work was done on it. I'll also try the MityVac thing and see what that does. Thanks for the advice.

i have a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer and the 4x4 will not stay engaged. I am pretty sure the Actuator is out. But i don't wanna go shot gunnin parts at it without knowin for sure what it is. Any ideas?

I am havin the same issue. i believe it is the 4x4 actuator. In my 94 S10 blazer it is located under the battery mount. It's a 50$ replacement. I haven't bought the part yet though.
