Are there any tricks to removing the rear panels to get access to the rear speakers on a 2 door blazer? I'm not sure if its just those connectors that pop loose or are there any hidden screws that...

I used a swival type joint and a t handle, but you can use a ratchet with enough extensions too.

head unit rca's to the amp, then speaker wire from the amp to your speakers. You would most likely need an aftermarket head unit to do that though

Adding an amp will make the speakers sound much better also, I believe that the papers that came with my rainbows said they could be damaged if you don't use an amp with them

Detroit muscle - do you mean by taking the actual brackets off instead of taking the pins out?

I'm just trying to get the pins out since its making a bunch of noise over bumps with the tire on...

I need to take the rear tire carrier off to replace one of the bushings on it. I have the e clips off and the pins don't want to budge. Do I just need to hit them hard from underneath with a hammer...

a couple of questions

Is there a rebuild kit or something for the hinges of the rear tire carrier? The top rear hinge is missing one of the bushings inbetween the rear tire mount frame and where it attches to the Blazer...
