The fella on the other forum was 100% correct! I just got it out of the shop today with the case rebuilt. I feel like I got a good deal having it cost $605 all in. 335 to r&r and 270 for the rebuild....

Just an update, I had a tail light go out and you have to remove the strut to get to the screw. Once I had it off, it was obvious that it was blown. I ordered a pair off eBay and they came in today....

It was a long day.

Today the BlaZr2 got new shackles, new leaf springs, new u bolts, and new shocks. I gained 3 1/4" in the rear just by replacing the worn out leaf springs and a busted shackle. I went with 1.5" lift...
