Ahh Crap...

Changed the oil and tranny fluid on the Blazer last week, took it wheeling for about 45 min to an hour with no problems. Went to start it up today and it is now BILLOWING white smoke from the right...

All I have to say is tire clearance. Being able to get more axle clearance does help expecially when it comes to bogging. But I also believe in proportion, 5 inches requires some decent size tires...

In the little Blazers I've swapped for a 327 and for the tranny 700R4. Best combo I've seen for a little Blazer in a while. Lots of tweaking, things to remember is to try not doing it to your daily.

Whole exterior of my K5 has been lined using the NAPA stuff. Simple DIY kits do a great job as long as you take your time and do it correctly. I think this week I'll be finishing my interior.
