6.0 in Gen1 Blazer

I'm getting things around to put a 6.0 (LQ4) in my 87 Blazer .
I read that using the Dirty dingo mounts and the Muscle car pan will allow this without cutting the frame.

So my other questions...

Well I don't believe it's tires My 03 has Master craft MT's on it a pretty aggressive tire, and my cousins 01 has Good year wranglers so there's a little bit of difference in treads I really think...
