i agree with captain hook, gm's are notorious for piston slap, once they get up to operating temp it goes away hope you figure out the issue

those are all vacuumed controlled, the snow and slush could have knocked the line off or it could be all plugged up, but first things first check the switch on the dash to make sure thats working good
