Here is a wire diagram of the fuel pump on your truck. And a location of your fuel pump relay.

If you look the orange wire at the relay should have 12v all the time, first check to make sure...

Check under the hood to make sure the heater hoses are infact going to the firewall. Seeing as how a heater core is a 6+ hour job alot of ppl bypass it.
If that checks out feel the heater hoses...

Deff, get a quality pump. Im a mechanic here in town and in the last 4yrs I have put probably 40 pumps in S10's and blazers. Very common problem. Ide say half of the ones I replace are cheap...

Yea to my surprise it has a TH400, and from what I read it should be a 241 in the burban, and whatever stock is in my 88 K5 is still there. Im just trying to figure what I need to do before I jump...

Ok guys so I thought hard and decided to sell the 97, I sold it for 1000.00 so I made 200.00 there.

Then on my way home I saw a 1990 Suburban with a plow for sale. It was almost completely rust...
