The air bag light went off the day after I clean up the contacts on the sensor. Whetheror not it's related - it may be related to how many times the system starts up and detects no faults found...

Just to follow up - the sensors on the front bumper are tied into the system via the DERM module are they not as well as the arming sensor inside the column?
