I put on 255/70/15 tires. They fill out great and they are 10 wide tires so you get a better foot print. Also I don't rub at all.

keep in mind to measure before you bump up the rear end. The fenders are not cut level with the front and rear. so a bit of an optical illusion.

Easy way of checking you u-joint is getting under the truck to where you can see the u-joint and look at it then move the drive shaft by hand and see if there is play in the u-joint. If looks good...

When you start it and run it for a few minutes go check the radiator and hoses. If they get soft and collapse in on them selves that could be the reason. Also if the motor is starting to over heat...

Replace the ignition fuse. It is one of the big ones so you can't see if it is out. It is what happened to mine and it did the same thing. Plus its only a few bucks to buy it so its a cheap start.

Yeah the piston should just go to being flush with the caliper. If the pads still don't fit then they may have gave you wrong pads or rotor.
