So with the AT I would still be able to go off road just not in deep mud. I'm not sure what some of the trails provided around here are like. I would just like to be able to take my son out wheeling...

I agree I loved the look of the MTs. They have the functionality and visual appeal. Since I will be having the money to buy them I figured, why not.
