i forgot to mention new plugs and wires, the old plugs were completely toasted and the wires were soo brittle.

well, i just took it off again and it had a couple small pieces of carbon holding it open. I first checked the code history with a paper clip andjumping the ground and diagnostic ports on the aldl...

the light went out but it is still running rough. I checked the code history by jumping the ground and diagnostic ports on the aldl plug. Its running like the egr is stuck open. I unplugged it to see...

disconnecting the nedative battery cable will make the light go off for a while but if there is a problem it will come right back on. I have done that already.

i replaced the egr valve on my truck but i am still getting a check engine light every once in a while and the egr valve is sticking open and run rough even though its brand new egr. I am thinking...
