Does anyone know EXACTLY how the cold start/hot start works in these W engines? I suspect coolant temp sensor is out of spec but still working. I get instant start dead cold colorado winter. warm...

pinch return line

you could pinch the return line and the pressure should rocket up past 60.
maybe instead of wrong pump you have failed pressure regulating valve in spider. it is actually replaceable.
if pinching...

about to bite down on some bullets. things point towards PCM.
94 s-10 blazer W 240K miles 4x4 quit after short while other day.
would intermittent run, but never got far. maybe 5 to 10 min...
