Hub was relativly new. Say 2 years old versus the other side which has 170k on it. I was hoping not to replace the hub since it was basically new, and had no play in the bearings.

The intake manifold has developed a slow leak at the edges.

How big a job is this? Is it better to take to a shop?

Your going to need a mirror most likely, like you would get at the parts store on a handle.

Hooks up to a switch on the top of the transfer case. Drivers side, on top. Stick your hand up there...

I'm with Kyle. You may replace all that stuff to find out your steering box is shot, which is pretty typical on these blazers from what I've seen. Find out what's bad, then replace.

I just had the evap leak. It proved to be the gas cap. According to the service manual, that looks like a tough nut to crack if it's not the gas cap. Dont know about the others.

Yes, it only has one set screw, and on mine it happenes to be right at the location where the spindle hasthe notch, so it doesnt tighten down as well as it could.

Kyle is correct, and changing the fuel pump can be a difficult job.
And costly. I paid ~800 bucks to have it replaced, and they had my truck for the day.

There is a bank of solenoids behind the ashtray. For me, the solenoids failed.

If your climate control has an “Auto” setting, you also have these solenoids.

I now have vacuum at the actuator under the battery.
The vacuum actuator appears to be working well/properly.

Looking for a little help with 4WD. Transfer case switches, front hubs do not engauge. Driveshaft engages.
Checked vacuum actuator. It's kinda sticky, but appears to hold vacuum. It may be working....
