thanks kyle. i was gonna buy a 1999 gmc sonoma high rider but i went to look at it and it was flippin horrible. the pictures were so deceiving. it was sad. lol

the fuel pump stays at a pretty high pitch usually, but recently when you turn the key and let it build pressure it sounds pretty low. but my battery needs replaced, so that's probably the cause.

I don't have gas in the oil. Just changed it recently and it smells just fine, doesn't smell burnt or gassy or anything. Just like used oil.

yeah the wires are like ripped off the window and there's a little bit of bare wire hanging off the ends of the wires where it looks like it was attached.

Definitely change the fuel filter, also.. Check the oxygen sensor too, it might need replaced because it could be telling your engine to run too rich!
