I just replaced the inner and outer fenders as well as the hood. New parts came off a 94 S10 Blazer, mine is an 88 S10 Blazer.

Ended up filling her up 2nite. Squeezed every drop I could in the tank. After doing the math I went from 12mpg to almost 16mpg. That's a 33% increase after only 1 dose. Happy with the $8 investment!!!

Got it done!

Allright finally got it situated. A good soaking with PB Blast and some muscle and the SOB finally came off. Thw rest of the project went simple from there.

Seafoam the MF!

Alright I'm gonna try the seafoam on the pig tomorrow! Get better mileage in my GTO than the 88 S10 Blazer, and have a hell of a lot more fun. 228k on the beast and I think It's time, anyone else...

Check the EGR & IAT' make sure there cleaned out from carbon. My 88 started the same **** today, cleaned it all out and now starts and idles fine

How many miles on your 1st gen Blazer. I've got 223K on the original engine. She keeps moving alon and keeps the goat in the garage on bad days.

That's what I thought but had to check. Pulled it all apart again, got her good with throttle body cleaner and after about 50 miles no code yet. Gotta see what happens after a trip to the eway...

Ok, 32 back on the dash. Pulled off the whole TBi & EGR again , used throttle body cleaner. Was a lot of carbon build up still. Would the fact the there is an exhaust leak throw code 32?

Thanks for the info! It was just what I needed, taking off the throttle body gave me just enough room to get that damn egr out. It was a mechanical one so cleaned it up and put back on. No longer...

Sorry, forgot to put 4.3 engine. I've looked at the part online and it appears to be on the backside as I explained. Only appears to be 2 bolts and a vacuum line just can't seen to get a socket tween...

I am throwing code 32 and want to pull and clean or replace the egr. It appears to located on the back side of the motor below the air cleaner. What do I use to remove, seems like very tight quarters...

Had the same problem, changed out the iac 2 weeks ago and no problems since. Only $25 for part and 10 mins to change

tailgate issue

Just picked up an 88 s10 blazer as the new winter ride. Today I popped the rear glass but now the tailgate won't go down. Any help would be appreciated. Might need this feature sometime this winter...
