My sis in law's 02 trailblazer the back windows are on some sort of cable drive. The cables have come out of their mounts and the pick up reel is a birds nest of cable. Never came across anything...

Depends on what year? I took the whole intake plenum off my 94 to get at it. I read your post and thought what the hell. Went back out and with a 3/4 swivle and a long extension with a 10mm socket....

Try tapping on the housing, LIGHTLY. Is yours electronic? I just did mine on sunday. Good luck, made a helluva difference for me. If you have a vortec6 you'll have to take the air intake plenum off.

Blower motor resistor, bout 40 bucks at autozone if I remember correct. Gotta lay on your back and take out the blower motor to get at it.
