I've got an 87 s10. all Ive done to it is put some 30's on it and it's been able to handle some level 5 trails.

87 S10 body lift

I'd like to give it a 2" body lift. Do I need to account for anything or can I just jack it up and put spacers between the body and the frame? Will the steering column and wiring cause any problems?

I found the problem... It was a ground wire located under the the dash right next to where the parking brake pedal rest when it is disengaged. The bolt was so loose I could get a couple of turns...

Yeah, I looked up that pump, if it pulls the oil from the dipstick hole that will leave everything you really want to get out in your oil pan. Any solids or other heavy material will still be there....

Filter wrench wouldn't hurt. Sometimes you can get it off with your hands though. When you put the new one on spread some fresh oil on the rubber seal ring and tighten it by hand. If you get it...

well that was easy! The vacume line had fallen off the actuator. Wish I found that at the trail. The indicator lights still dont work though.

Tried 4 hi and low, no front drive on either. 4 low puts the rear into low though. I couldn't find any linkage near the hubs is it engeged at the diff? is it vaccume or electric. if its vaccume...

Irratic guages.

My guages are inaccurate. When I turn on the headlights the oil pressure drops to Zero, The temp shoots up to 260, I lose 1/4 tank of fuel and my voltage drops to 9. with the headlights off my check...

I have slop in my drive train somewhere. at any speed i get a pretty good klunk if I apply and release the accelerator. Is this coming from the chain in my Transfer case? I couldn't seem to find any...
