you need a new cluster once you unplug cluster with power going to it you would have caused a voltage spike that seized all electomechanical components in cluster,all i can say is try to diconnect...

also make sure your alternator belt is tight if it loose then u might not have to replace alt. and maybe just belt

i'd say ign switch also but your year blazer also has a passlock system that would have showed you signs as your factory alarm not operating correctly or in your case making u recrank your truck more...

go with a high output alt. before any thing u can't go wrong and remember that if u choose the cap u will need 1 farad for every 1000 watts u are pushing![sm=trust_me.gif]
