Sounds like a fuel problem maybe. Put a fuel gauge on and see how fast it leaks down when you shut the ign. off.

My fuel pressure is 56 psi when idling, I'm thinking this a bit low.

I had my fuel return line leak after an injector line rubbed up against it making a small hole. I guess you need to check and make sure the new pump is good by testing pressure by the filter first...

I believe the post cat. only observes cat. function, and doesn't affect fuel/air ratio.

I have heard about work around for pre cat. o2 sensor, but never tried it.

Not sure about spacers.

I would check the grounds, Batt - to block, and block to ground. The one for the block to frame is on the back of passanger side cyl. head I believe.

You could also try some voltage drop tests...

Also have you checked what your fuel pressure is at ?
