Courtesy light mounting location

So I spent the afternoon replacing the combo switch on my daughter's 98 Blazer. A couple of great tips from this forum made the job easier and saved my hunting down some sockets for the single...

RE: 98 Blazer 4.3 11 mpg Is that Normal?

You didn't ask for advice...you asked if it was normal mpg.

Focus on things that would cause an over rich condition, like coolant temp sensor, O2S or leaking injectors. If you had a miss, was it...

RE: 200 miles to a tank

I'd guess a problem with either the coolant temp sensor or the O2 sensor in the manifold (upstream).

If either one is sending incorrect readings, it can run much richer.

RE: R134a how much "psi"

The low pressure reading will vary second to second with where you are in the compressor on/off cycle, as well as other factors.

Best bet for getting it right is to remove all refrigerant,...

RE: BRAKES! need help, don't know what to replace

Did you allow the fluid to drain while you were changing the calipers? Completebleeding can be a problem without power bleeding equip., especially if you have ABS.

You make no mention of...

RE: Removing parking brake handle

Not vehicle specific, as I don't know yours, but:

I'm not sure you want to remove it from the "shaft" (usually a cable). What makes you think you want to? Removing the bracket that holds it in...

Caliper pistons won't go back

I ran into a problem this weekend that was a first for me in my 40+ years of DIY auto repairs. I was wondering if anyone has any insight.

My daughter's 98 Blazer needed new rear pads, so I got...
