Anyone with a classic ride or just a car enthusiast MUST go to Hot August Nights in the Reno Carson City area. it is the largest car show in the world, it goes for two weeks and is a definite bucket list item if you've never been. THOUSANDS of classic cars roam the streets for two weeks and its like living back in time. I got sick of it being there since its inception from a few cars to this massive juggernaut that its become.
If you can, GO, you wont be disappointed.

 

I'd add to a list of cruises to see the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise in Detroit. I went a couple times 20 years ago. There are cars cruising up and down the road and parked along the side for literally miles.

As a good friend described it: "I saw more Hemis in one day than I thought they ever made!"
