Here's my blazer with a 3 inch body lift from a first gen blazer.

Might as well do a 3. Everybody I know that went with a 2 wishes they woulda went 3 instead.

My biggest concern with a 3 is there is no kit with bumper brackets

You could always make some or fill the gaps.

On a 2nd gen don't they just use body pucks to raise the bumpers

on my blazer the front bumper would work with body pucks, not so sure about the rear, I'm probably going to get a 3" body lift, and squeeze some 33x10.5's

On my blazer I made 4 U Style brackets and put them on their side for the front bumper. For the back all I did was take a flat 3 inch piece of steel and drill holes. On my rear bumper i did have to cut part of it out in order to fit correctly. I'll see if I can get a picture of it tomorrow during work.

that'd be good, I'm interested now lol. you think you could get some 33's under your truck?
