First Camp of the year

Snowed the whole drive up including some back roads where I got to crank up the 4wd. Found a shelter house with lights and electricity. Slept like a baby in 29°

As a new owner of an S10 Blazer I didn't know quite what to expect, but after this trip I'm sold on this little bugger as a legit mini RV.

Where were you?

Our little Blazers cab be quite capable and in a pinch, we can sleep in them too. Is that what you did?

I spent the night in mine a year ago so I could be at a spot to go deer hunting. The only issue was I forgot to crack the window and I had lots if condensation.

I did sleep in it! I'm a 4 season car camper (in Kansas) so unfortunately brutal weather in Winter AND Summer is part of the gig. I had major condensation in other vehicles on winter camps, but I bought two of those big silica packs on Amazon and they do the job. As you can see I followed your suggestion and got the roof rack :)

Congrats! Isn't it fun to go exploring like that?

I love that idea of using large silica packs. I'll havr to look into that. Thanks for the recommendation.
