my stock alt holds my 2 12's just fine and they are 1200 watt rms subs each, i love my set up, but im thinking about upgrading to a new box to make it louder, i hit 135.3 db at the headrests with the box i have now, i want more!
your subs are getting 1200 watts each?, or are rated for 1200 watts?

amps suck power.....not subs....
rated, they are getting around 950 to 1000 watts each, i have 2 Power Acoustik LT2600's powering them, they are rated at 1000 rms. so im thinking im pushing around 2000 watts through my brain everytime i crank it![8D]

nice i build these type of boxs for people all the time. when you build it the next time try using white glue on that MDF no more viberations and no air leaks out. white glue is a lot stronger then you think.

well....after wire restriction, imp. rise....box rise yada yada.......im sure its alot less than 950 watts...

sounds like crap, but it gets loud. Im assuming thats what the goal was?

Very Very nice, i put my system in recently and ended up having to take out some flaps in the back panel they rattled like hell but its all good now

how did you get to the back flaps that your talking about? im getting very very sick of hearing those rattle.
