Interior lights (blue) done with touchscreen head unit!
What do yall think? I;m working on a new "performance style" steering wheel, shifter/knob and the sound system now.... but the lighting is done!

Lookin' good. You even got the shifter lights nice. Very thorough.
Oh, and how did you do the lights behind the headlight switch? I don't like that that is the one spot on mine without green. http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/.../leds002-2.jpg |
I gorrilla glued an LED behind the switch, then hot wired it to my fuse box and grounded it somewhere... it turned out good, its cool because its always on when the trucks on! That way when you get in at night and crank it you don't have to feel around over there to find the switch to cut on the HID's ;)
Oh, and that LITTLE row of led's under the dash (first pic) is a life saver when searching for something in the pocket infront of the shifter.... it's just wired to a toggle switch. |
Yeah I have 4 pods with 6 green leds in mine. Two are on the overhead console, and two go to the footwells. They will be wired to my dome light once I get it fixed.
|
Looks good! I can't wait to put some blue leds under my dash.
|
Damn man that is friggen sick! I did this once when I had a focus and I'm never going on such an undertaking again.
|
Looks good! Very similar to mine:

I bet the touch screen is a pain to use while you're driving down the road.

Haha good thing your blaze sits too high for someone to peak in at your electronics

Alarm, remote start, detachable face.... plus the head unit is literally bolted in by 8 bolts, two with lock washers! I just put my sub and amp tonight as well (pics to come), the box gets pad locked (Master lock) to the rear steel floor TOMORROW! :icon_speaker1::icon_speaker1:

It's a Viper, not sure of the model number though.... it was on the truck when I purchased it.
|
I like the treatment.. saying something for a geezer, huh!
Except I hate blue cuz I have light blue eyes and any 'electric blue' signs, for example just look like a big blob to me. But I have a phone charger that uses a humongous blue LED which lights up the footwell {because I have to point it down} and that got me thinking of putting in several LED's under the dash of my TBird that would be on anytime the photocell saw it was dark and the key was on. |
