just got it all wired up today, happy with my cheapo lights :))

anyone know of any reasonably priced whiter replace bulbs for low beams and my aux. lights? dont really like the amber glow :(

HIDextra has a sale on & I'm sure many others do.
Just please DON'T put HID's in housings that aren't meant for them. All you'll get is bling looking at them & piss off other motorists with the bright wide flood glare they'll have. Projectors were made to house HID's & ebay has many that will work well. Just be forewarned that some if not a lot of them use 9005 bulbs as the low beam, not a 9006 that's a stock low beam bulb in a 2nd gen blazer.

Yeah I'm really not sure and I actually doubt my housing would allow hids, they're pretty unconcentrated with stock bulbs...
And I don't have the money for Projectors, and idk if wiring hids is cOmplicated?
I'm thinkin like what could I do tO improve on my stock bulbs for now

HID's are or should be plug-n-play, very easy to install. Sylvania bulbs have mixed reviews on longevity so keep the receipt for warrenty & return/replacement in the 1st year.

Yes hids can be plug and play. But on yours, if you haven't disabled the auto headlights and the DRLs you will most likely have problems. I would also go with a relay harness too. That way you don't overwhelm your stock wiring.

That all said, you will have far better performance with some proper projectors. I have a pair of them on my bike and they out perform the plug and play ones I had in my blazer by far.

If you do end up just getting the PnP kit, make sure you aim the lights a little lower so you reduce the amount of light going in other drivers eyes.

What brand and model brush guard ?
 

That guard looks really good, is it as heavy duty as it looks ? I just became a Blazer owner and am looking to add a heavy duty guard and trailer hitch.

If they are 55 watt bulbs id just opt to get some 100 watt bulbs instead. They're relatively inexpensive just make sure your wires are in good condition and if you have not done so already run a relay.
