jeez, just dropped $200 (well my mom did) replacing the brake pads as well as the rotors.

Thats a bummer, dropping that much on brakes unless you got ceramic pads and some really good rotors!!

I honestly don't remember, I wasn't the one who put them on (even though I know how). Got them at autozone so I think they were the duralast stuff (don't personally like but, since my mom was paying I didn't have much choice.). They were priced at about $22.
