1994 blazer dually

Hi everyone,
I'm new here but I have a quick question, so over the years I have owned a lot of new and old blazers. They have always been for mudding or just daily drivers tho. I want to do something that I can't find information on anywhere. I recently came across on old beat down OBS blazer and got it for practically nothing. I wanna be able to haul around my boat and be able to haul my mud toys to the holes. I'm thinking about building a dually version but dont know anywhere to start with suspension or rear ends. Gonna to uses either a cummins 4bt or a 350 for a power plant. Any information on this would be great. Have a great day.

*Moved to 'Steering, Suspension & Drivetrain'. If you start the build then please create a thread in 'Builds' section.

I've never done anything like what you're describing, but for the rear axle & suspension, I'd start with looking at a dually pickup. You could probably pick up an axle and suspension for one from a wrecker for fairly cheap. You'll likely want to beef up your frame to be able to handle weight as well.
