okay, i just bought a 96 bravada for real cheap, it needs a front cv shaft, is tere any way i could just take off both front cv shafts, and the front driveshaft and make it a rwd without damaging it? i know it has the smarttrak awd system, i just dont have the money to replace the cv just yet and im afraid to do more damage. is it possible to make it a 2wd?

 

You cant just remove the shafts with the awd system .
