2001 Transfer Case - C233 three button
 

Ref: 2001 Blazer 3- Button (Tag C233 ratio 272)
The chain in the transfercase seems loose and when in 4X4 I believe the chain is slipping/jumping teeth under 4X4 load. Getting a cracking/popping noise when in 4X4 only. Drained the fluid only got about a 1/2 quart of fluid a very little metal filings. I can move the chain with a screwdriver through the drain hole, it appear to have some play/sloppy ?

I picked up another transfercase with 40,000 miles from a 2003 S-10 with Tag C-233c ratio 272 they look identical, will this swap with no trouble ?
