So today i noticed that my 2wd light on my 2000 blazer wasnt lighting up. I then attempted to shift it into 4wd to see if it was just the light that went bad. No dice. It wouldnt shift into 4wd.

I recently pulled the abs fuse because i have a bad wheel speed sensor that i cant afford to replace at the moment and i got sick of almost hitting people at stop signs. Could that have anything to do with it?

I also noticed that it was slightly harder to steer this afternoon on my way home, but the power steering fluid is full? I am at a loss.....

 

my buddy has a 97 with the auto shift buttons...his 4x4 wasent working when he got it..it ended up being the cable in the front diff...it was junked up...he cleaned it and it worked...sorry if im wrong...
