4wd problem

Default 4wd problem

having problem with 1996 s10 blazer when in 4wd the front wheels do not pull the transfer case gears down. replaced vacuum switch,vacuum actuator, still want work. have not replaced front axle switch,dont really understand how it works or if any way of testing it. anyone have any suggestions on what my problem could be? hope i did this right im new. thanks

How far is the cable being pulled when the transfer case is put into 4HI or 4LO?

the vacuum actuator goes flat guessing about 1 inch to 1 and half inch

And it is pulling the cable that far at the same time? If so, it sounds like the cable isn't connected properly inside the differential. The range of motion should be more like 0.5-0.75".

have checked cable inside of housing and seems to be connected right
