Question Need to lift my Blazer..

Alright so I have a question firstly,

My 2001 Blazers tires stick out just a little bit more than a "off the car lot" Blazer even with stock rims.. I was reading some posts and saw something about a spacer, where would it be and how would I know if I have one? The problem I am having is when I take a bump or dip to hard the Blazer comes down and the wheel wells (the right mostly) are coming down and smacking into the tires which in turn the trim of the wheel wells is actually cutting into the tires when it hits.. I need to know the best, preferably cheapest options to fix this..

My first thought and something I was telling my brother about was getting it lifted by 3", now that's where I am not sure how to do it.. I don't want to spend a lot, at least not right now and just need something cheap.. The rear end uses leaf springs so a Block lift $30 from Autozone would work.. but the front end has shocks and I was thinking Springs but that's where I am not sure what to do or use.. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

One, you are in the wrong section. We have a lifted section with plenty of threads asking similar questions. Second, we need some info about your truck. Is it 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive?

If it's a 4WD, then the the front has torsion bars. They are your springs. You can go on JCWhitney or other websites and get "torsion keys" that will lift the front end up and inch or two. But your problem might be, and I can't see your Blazer right now, so I don't know, but your problem might be that your torsion bars aren't adjusted properly. If you get up underneath the car, and look at the lower control arms, there are bars sticking out and they go back to a crossmember on your frame. The bars are your torsion bars, and on the crossmember should be the torsion keys, they look like The letter "Q" jus twith a really long tail. On the bottom of the crossmember should be some 15mm bolts, one for each torsion key, and you can tighten and loosen those to raise and lower the front end.
