4x4 swap, posi and disk brakes?

1 Attachment(s)
i have a 2wd 1991 Blazerhttps://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1374653167 with an 8.5, 3.08, and No posi.

Most 4x4 have better gearing and posi so I Been thinkin about doin a 4x4https://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1374653167 rear end swap for the posi, BUT i also want disk brakes.

Is there ANY 4x4 blazers out there that came factory with a 8.5, posi, AND disk brakes?? AND is it the same width as 2wd-stock?
(between 48-50in Backing plate 2 backing plate)
this includes 96 and up as well.
Any info will be appreciated. been internet researching for DAYYSS.

I think a newer Zr2 year would have all of those things. They all had 3.73 gears, I believe they were the 8.5in. and all had the G80. Only some had the disc brakes so you'd need to watch for that. Not exactly sure on the width though. If I recall, the 2wds had less backspacing on the rims so the added width might help get closer to the stock 2wd size.

A ZR2 axle is going to be around 6" wider than a 2wd axle. Probably not the option you're looking for. the 4x4 axles are 3" wider than the 2wd axles too. If you're wanting to stay with the same width as a 2wd axle, you're limited to sourcing the parts from a 2wd Blazer, or having an axle custom shortened.

Ahh, well, never mind then.
