4x4 to ZR2 ?

Is it possible to take a standard 2d 4x4 and take the suspenison off of a ZR2 and swap it over to get more lift? If so what parts need to be transfered and what mods have to be made?

Not possible unless you swap your body onto a ZR2 frame. Completely different frame between the two.

Can your provide some substantion of this because that sounds like the dumbest production flaw I have ever heard off...[sm=badidea.gif]

The frame under the ZR2 is completely different as are the upper and lower control arms and their mounts. The frame itself is stronger than the stock frame. Not a production flaw as you see it, but more of a marketting promotion.

I'm sure Jigg can explain in more detail than I am able to.

RE: 4x4 to ZR2 ?

The reason why it is different is because of the way the suspension mounts to the frame and the way that the frame is made. Pretty much a ZR2 is just a blazer with a way better frame/suspension setup, made more for offroading. I am pretty sure they were made on seperate product lines and maybe even different plants.

EDIT: If you really wanted better off-road performance it would be better and cheaper to just go with the 5-6" suspension kit.
