I have just finished replacing A arm bushings, control arm bushings, new tie rods and the bushings in the stabilizer bar. I have everything back together except the stabilizer bar. This is on a 4x4 and does not have the links that connect to the control arm, rather the bar connects to the bottom of the control arm with brackets. The brackets are no where close to matching back up after I disassembled. I have checked and re-checked to make sure I put everything back together properly. Any thoughts??? Thanks.

could it be if you removed the sway bar that its on backwards, like the left is on the right side and vice versa. ivegot in the habit of always marking sway bars when taking them out they always look like they could go in either way

They can be a bit tricky to get installed. Try just starting a few bolts first, such as on the control arm. Then try and get the frame brackets started. Also try with it under weight. I've had to finesse a bar on with the help of a ratchet strap. Other times, it went on easily without issue, done it about 3 or 4 times.

Thanks guys. I wound up taking it completely off and starting one side at the control arm. Next, the two frame connections - which required a lot of pushing and prying and then used 3 ratchet straps to get the other control arm connection. All back together and front end aligned. Awesome! Thank you so much for your input.
