92 full size steering column

Anyone ever swapped? Can I use one out of a later model if I change over to floor shift? I am thinking as long as I can get the turn signals and horn to work, I don't mind busting out the welder and frankensteering it, as long as it's tough.

How late of a later model? Why not just find the appropriate column from the appropriate truck?
