94 tcase
 

Hello I have a 94 jimmy, floor shift 4x4. Tcase was popping out of 4lo so I bought one off craigslist. But mine has a ujoint on the front out put shaft and this new one is a flange. The shaft also looks longer otherwise I would just switch yokes. Can I split both and swap out put shafts? Or are there other differences I haven't seen yet?

Are you sure you bought a 231 case? I could be wrong but I don't think I've ever seen a Chevy 231 with a flange. Slip yoke and yoke yes but no flange. I have seen many 241s with a flange. Can you post pics please?

I apologize if I'm off, but is your jimmy a full size or T series? Did your replacement transfer case come from a model the same as yours?
