Aggravating rear brake rotor identifying and sourcing issue...
 

If anyone has photos of their rear brake rotors, can you post them along with details of the Blazer they're on?

For my 2004 4x4 4 door LS, I got a kit of drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads a little while back. The fronts went on great, flawless, and they look and work great. I tried to do the rears last Sunday and ran into a snag. The rotors are not deep enough, by a full inch... Going back and forth with the seller, they said I ordered correctly according to the application the kit was suppose to fit, but it's obvious when looking at them that they're NOT the correct ones lol.

My original rotors have a 3 inch dish on them where the parking brake shoe rides. The ones that came in the kit have just a 2 inch dish. They're VERY easy to spot the difference on... So I'm just wondering if the application listing is wrong that the seller claims, or if my 04 4x4 4 door LS has a crazy weird rear brake setup lol

According to RockAuto.com, all 4x4's should have 3-3/4 OAH rotors. RWD came with either 3-3/4 and 2-7/8 OAH rear rotors. Sounds like your seller has it wrong.

I am going through the exact same thing right now , the rears I received in the set are too small , it could be that the shallow ones are manual discs and the deeper ones are automatic , I'm still trying to confirm this but the supplier that sent me my set said they only sell manual rotors and not automatic ones so I'm thinking this is where the issue comes from
