Torsion Bar Unloading Tool - T-Bar Tool
Hi Guys, I've been searching through all the threads on how to remove torsion bars and everyone is adamant about using a t-bar unloading tool for safety reasons. I haven't found a link to the tools yet but other research has led me to these tools.
Which one is better?
This one ?
Or this one?

The blue one is more heavy duty

I made both kinds of Unloading tools by myself.
IMO the lower ist better, because the pressure is more srteady shared, so the tool can not pitch away and bend the side of the crossmember.
But is it very important to know the material of the tool.
Donīt buy cheap crap, itīs dangerous and you will not be happy with it.

I would think the second one is better. Seems like it would have more stability.

The first tool is heavier duty, but can slip with enough force to kill or seriously hurt you.
The second tool is safer cause it cant come off the crossbar.
Just be careful, and NEVER place yourself directly under the tool.
Invest in the right tools, its about 80 bucks.
