axle nut size...
searched the internet high an low and turned up many results. it measures out to 1 3/8, and everybody says 36mm, and unit conversion dont match them up . I just dont wanna purchase the wrong socket!

i know for the 2nd gen blazers its a 36mm.

36mm. I know because I have to move that huge socket around in the bottom of my toolbox whenever I get anything out of there.

It will be helpful to have access to a good impact. If not then a big breaker bar and a cheater pipe will also work.

Do you guys(in the USA) have access to Mastercraft tools? If so there 240ft/lb electric impact wrench goes on sale all the time here in Canuckadia for $39.99 and takes off axle nuts/pitman arms yada yada yada no problem. Finally got to put her to the test installing my power performance steering/suspension kit over the past two days! Saved me a lot of sore hands and bloody knuckles to say the least.

Tried the 36mm yesterday, way big. Then the 34mm to small, The 35mm is snug but just right. This is on a 2000 4X4.
