bad wobble prob ..plz read this
 

ok i have a 95 blazer my 4wheel drive works...here's whats going on now i was driving in 4hi it was snowing and slick i crossed some railroad tracks (they were ruff and i hit a dip hard) then i started getting a wobble in my frount end and my steering wheel was pulling to the left back and forth..i took it out of 4hi and put it in 2hi and it still was wobbling ok i got to my freinds house to check it out i had him to pull forward an back so i could watch the front wheels i cound'nt see anything. then when i got back in to drive home it was fine no wobble...then it happend again after i put it back in 4hi the next day now it driveing fine again i can't figure it out...

Could be as simple as you knocked the front end out of alignment or threw a weight or four off a rim. Or could be as bad as you bent the passenger side axle tube. Just gotta crawl underneath there and take a good look at everything.

At the very least, bring it in to get an alignment. They are pretty good at telling you what is wrong if they can't get it aligned.

its not the alignment its driveing fine it seems it has someting to do with after i put it in 4hi it jurks the steering wheel hard to the left even at a crawl speed

Have you had it to an alignment shop to tell you that? You may be correct, but it might be something else that will be much harder to diagnose if we cannot assume the alignment is correct. As AJ points out, this could be a number of things that an alignment shop will be able to pin-point. Just because they cannot align the car does not mean the money is not well spent. You could jack it up in the cold, tear it all apart, and replace 2 things you broke during disassembly and 4 things you think might be worn out and not fix your problem. This is a weird problem, because one system (4wd) should not affect the other system (steering). There are few interdependencies and if we can assume the frame is solid, all interdependencies are at the front wheels. Check your tread depth front to rear. Swap the front tires left to right if they are non-directional and see if the car pulls to the right or still to the left when you engage 4wd.

maybe 4wd exaggerates the problem by pulling in those directions from being misaligned?

You could have also busted the bearing and it is completely dead. Do you notice any noise coming from the front of the vehicle that is not normal for your vehicle? I hit a pot hole one time with the wheel at full crank and it made a heck of a racket and caused the wheel to wobble a bit like you are saying
