ball joints bad....need advice

Im about 99.9% sure the ball joints are bad...they are original i believe. Gonna let a mechanic do the work...

I was wondering, how long does this job take?
Also what brand ball joints do you guys recommend? And is there anything else while this is getting done i should consider doing too?

Thanks in advanced!

Moog or timken . If theres rivets holding them in they are original

yea i heard moog was good. thats what i told my mechanic because i swore he told me before the previous owner had them replaced around 80k, coulve been something else i guess cause he looked at all old bills and couldnt find it this morning.

i assume you replace upper and lower at the same time, now is it recommended to do both driver and passenger at the same time?

I guess you don't have to replace both sides, but if one side is so bad it needs to be replaced, the other side usually isn't too far behind. I would go ahead and have them all done, while it's at the shop, unless money is an extreme issue.
