can I bypass trans case mod (behind kick panel)

My 4 wheel drive isn't working in my 02, put a new trns motor on it, someone said it's probley the trans mod behind the kick panel on pass side. Is there a way to by pass it with a paper clip or something to see if the 4 wheel will engage before I spend the money on a new on?

There really isn't a way to hot-wire it. A lot goes on in the TCCM.

Do you have 3-buttons or 4-buttons on the dash?

I have 3 bottons on dash. Forgot to say I can push 4hi or 4L in light will flash 1 time and I can hear the Mod click as I have K panel off, but lights won't stay on and 4 wheel wont engage.

Hello, New to the forum and need help- '92 Blazer seems to be stuck in 4 whl drv. It's my mother's vehicle and I'm not used to driving it but it feels like 4 whls pulling whether the dash light (4-H, 4-L) is on or off. I've gotten to the module under pass. side kick panel and discovered a small amount of antifreeze, maybe that is shorting the tccm out.?? I have all the screws off the module but it's not pulling right off> Thank you
