Jegs, Summit Racing, etc... You are looking for a 7.625" (or 7.5") rear diff cover unless you have the larger 8.5" rear end.

Two days ago,IorderedSummit #8510400 cast aluminum differential bearing support and cover for my 1991 S10 Blazer 4wd which costs $150 and has aSummit logo.Trick Flow is the same cast aluminum bearing support and cover and is also available from Summit except it has the Trick Flow logo on it. The OEM 1991 S10 Blazer differential is a10-bolt 7.500" liimted slip but the same cover also fitsthe 10-bolt7.625" rear ends.

TheSummit #730302is a stamped steel chrome plated differentialcoverand only costs $25.The chrome plated version is a little too Bling-Bling for me.

Jegs has the same covers but are more expensive. Summit has Jegs beat on prices.

Summit and Jegs arethe only two companies that I have found who offers a reasonably priced 7.500"/7.625" differential cover for a S10 Blazer.

Go with a cast aluminum one, every chrome one I've had leaks unless you sand down the back side and then they rust.

The 7.500"/7.625" 10-bolt Chevy locking type(G80) rear end is notoriously weak. You should consider purchasing themore expensive 356-T6 Summit/Trick Flow cast aluminum girdle-cover that includesload bolts to support the bearing caps. Thatgirdle-cover willadd considerable strength to thedifferential. If your engine hasany serious power and you have tires with good bite, the 7.500"/7.625" 10-bolt rear end will not last, especially if your vehicle has a manual transmission. The power from the engine applied to the helical pinion gear tries to drive thedifferential out the back of the axle housing and can fracture the bearing supports. The aluminum girdle-cover adds support to the differential bearing caps.

Thecast aluminum girdle-cover has a drain plug so you can easily change the rear end lubricantas recommended by GM. The aluminum cover also has a fill plug but the regular fill in the axle housingcarrieris easier to use.The rear end with the aluminum girdle-ciover takesover two quarts of hypoid gear lubricant or until the lubricantbegins to flowfromthefill plug in the carrier of the axle housing. The bearing support load bolts torque at 5lb. ft.or 60 inch pounds each and is secured with a jam nut. Use Loctitethread sealer on all the bolt and plug threads.Use Loctite N0.2 gasket sealer on the supplied gasket and thegirdle - cover. Let thegasket and No. 2 sealer setup for ten minutes before installing the cover. Use no gasket sealer on the axle housing but be certain the axle housing sealing surface is clean and dry. The Loctite No.2 non-hardening gasket sealer is more suitable to non-rigid, vibrating assemblies. It issimilar toasphalt buteasily cleans up with rubbing alcohol. Loctite No.2 gasket sealeris resistant to gasoline, oils and solvents and will not squeeze out like RTV siliconesealer and will not get in the rear end. I use that sealer on engine assembly, water pumps, transmissions and rear ends.
